Sprint on the Spot

Published on 15 Apr 2013
To get the most out of this exercise, you'll want to to keep the torso as steady as possible, only really driving through the arms and the legs.

Remain tall and engage your core, so that you don't rock about and lose energy. Look straight ahead, drive the arms, and lift the knees, staying light on your toes. Go for time or number of steps taken.

http://www.sixpackfactory.com : High Knees or sprinting on the spot is a cardiovascular exercise that will help you to improve your cardiovascular endurance.
To perform high knees stand upright and bend your arms slightly at your sides. This movement is exactly like that of a sprinting action. Bring your knees up high towards your chest as quick as possible and combine with an alternating arm action. The key to this exercise is speed and height of the knees.
